You will be responsible for supporting the Appliance Sales Team to help them stay organized and complete tasks that allow them to focus on more advanced responsibilities. You play a key role in helping our team stay efficient so we can satisfy our customers!
Responsibilities: A typical Day in the Life of an Appliance Delivery Specialist
A day for an
Appliance Delivery Specialist at Jensen Akins can be unpredictable.
Each day is different depending on the issues that arise. The
Appliance Delivery Specialist may be delivering and installing major home appliances to a customers home and then later in the day organizing the appliance warehouse. OR maybe calling customers to arrange a delivery time. Each day involves extensive interaction with appliance customers, delivering and installing major home appliances, maintaining and organizing our appliance warehouse, and being a problem solver.
It's being nimble and being able to multi-task.
Job Duties: - Deliver appliances and other products.
- Ability to perform minor appliance installation adjustments (i.e. door reversals, hose connections, etc.).
- Ability to drive a box truck, no CDL required.
- Responsible for cleaning and inspecting delivery vehicles to ensure proper working conditions.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Maintain records, such as vehicle logs per regulations.
- Assist with keeping the warehouse clean and orderly.
- Assist with resetting sales floor inventory.
- Help maintain warehouse inventory and supplies needed for appliance installations.

- Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record
- The ability to safely lift 50 pounds on a routine basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
