Position: Art Director

Summary: We're looking for a visionary Art Director to lead the creative direction of Soles4Souls, ensuring that our visual identity is inspiring, impactful, and aligned with our mission. This is both a leadership and hands-on role—you'll guide a team of creatives while also contributing your own creative expertise to projects that make a difference.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the brand: Lead and evolve the visual identity of Soles4Souls to ensure consistency, innovation, and emotional impact.
• Create compelling campaigns and assets– Design for cross-platform marketing efforts, including digital, social media, print, video, and event collateral.
• Lead the creative team- Manage and mentor graphic designers and content creators, providing guidance and feedback to elevate the quality of work.
• Collaborate across departments – Partner with teams in Business Development, Outreach, Travel, and Communications to develop creative assets that support our programs and fundraising efforts.
• Ensure a strong digital presence – Work with the marketing team to keep the website visually compelling and user-friendly.
• Drive strategic creative initiatives – Brainstorm and develop new concepts for fundraising, events, and storytelling to engage supporters and donors.
• Oversee creative assets – Manage the organization's creative library, ensuring brand consistency across all materials

Qualifications and desired skills:
• Bachelor's degree in design, visual arts, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including supervisory/leadership roles.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and other design tools.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort interacting with internal team (aka our “clients”) and outside vendors
• A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
• Experience in nonprofits or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
• Valid driver's license
Physical Demands:

• Vision: Must have clear vision, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Hearing: Hear and communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
• Manual Dexterity: Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Repetitive Motion: Perform repetitive tasks, such as data entry, for extended periods of time.
• Work Environment: Be able to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and be exposed to varying weather conditions if applicable.
