Job Type Temporary Description We are currently looking for a fun & friendly Beverage Cart Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team at Quail West! Quail West is a leading private golf and country club that prides itself on providing world-class facilities for Members and their guests and an extraordinary and inclusive, yet unpretentious lifestyle. One of Southwest Florida's most welcoming clubs, Quail West's courses, facilities and services are shared by a limited number of members to enhance the quality of the member experience. The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing refreshments to Quail West Golf and Country Club members and guests during their game in an unobtrusive, courteous manner. Practice & play privilege for golf & tennis And many more! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Acquires a cart from the cart barn. Prior to departing onto the golf course for service, stocks the cart with food, ice and beverages. Verifies the outgoing inventory on a beverage cart tally sheet. Provides golfers with the opportunity to obtain refreshments while in the process of their golf game. Never approach a group while they are in the process of hitting the ball. Always use proper etiquette when approaching a group. Always be helpful and maintain a high level of service at all times. Communicates with the golf staff with potential problems seen on the golf course. At the conclusion of the shift, process all business for the day and reconcile the tally sheet numbers with the day's receipts. Charge Receipt totals to the members' account. If the shift is a day ending shift, clean the cart inventories, drain ice, return cart and remove trash. Any additional business-related duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications: Must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Excellent communication skills are essential. Must be a team player and customer service oriented. Food and beverage experience is a plus. Must have a valid driver's license. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: TIPS Certified Valid State Driver's License Physical Demands and Work Environment: Sit for long periods of time. Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hand and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds. Must be able to work long hours during the season. While performing the duties of this job the associate regularly works outdoors. The temperatures may be extremely hot or cold depending on the season. Quail West Foundation
