Job Title: Camera Operator Location: Various Locations Open to Travel (approximately 1020% travel required)Job OverviewWere seeking experienced Camera Operators ready to hit the road and deliver exceptional footage under any conditions. This is a hands-on role where technical skills, quick problem-solving, and adaptability are paramount. If you have experience with high-end filming equipment and thrive in a dynamic production environment, this job is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesCamera Operation & Technical Execution:Operate and maintain high-end cameras (e.g., ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, RED KOMODO 6K) to capture high-quality footage for broadcast and cinematic productions.Collaborate closely with the Director of Photography (DP) and production team to execute shot compositions, camera movements, and lighting setups.Ensure proper handling and care of camera equipment on set, including routine checks and troubleshooting technical issues.On-Set Duties & Production Support:Set up, adjust, and secure camera rigs, lenses, and accessories efficiently for each shot.Follow directions from the DP and Director, adapting quickly to any changes on set.Manage media (e.g., loading/unloading of recording media) and perform initial quality checks to ensure that footage meets production standards.Travel & Flexibility:Available to travel to various production locations, both domestically and internationally as needed.Adapt to fast-changing environmentswhether in a studio setting or on locationwhile ensuring high-level performance.Safety & Compliance:Maintain a strong focus on set safety standards and equipment handling protocols.Work within production timelines while adhering to all company guidelines and broadcast regulations.Required QualificationsExperience:Proven experience operating high-end camera systems in a professional broadcast or film production environment.Familiarity with camera setups, lenses, and technical aspects of digital cinematography is mandatory.Technical Skills:Solid understanding of modern digital camera systems, including setting adjustments for exposure, focus, and white balance.Ability to troubleshoot on-the-fly technical issues with minimal disruption to production schedules.Soft Skills & Adaptability:Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with directors, DPs, and other crew members.Must be highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing the demands of frequent travel and variable work environments.Travel:Must be willing and able to travel frequentlytypically 1020% of the timefor on-location shoots and equipment setups.Licenses & Certifications (if applicable):Valid drivers license and necessary travel documentation.Union or guild memberships are a plus for productions with unionized crews.Salary & BenefitsSalary Range: $50,000 $80,000 per year (This range is based on experience, production scale, and project demands.
