For more information, visit our website . The essential role of this position is to: Oversee, manage and direct the safety aspect of the field operations of the project from beginning to end. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive, site-specific Health and Safety/Accident Prevention Plan. Supervise and administer safety activities. Participate in progress meetings to present the company safety plan/policies and explain implementation and standards on the project. Conduct employee and subcontractor safety training. Conduct accident investigations on the job site and report them. Review, interpret and provide direction and compliance on safety regulations and standards. Monitor company and subcontractor safety performance. Conduct toolbox talks, project audits and safety inspections. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Requirements: Must have extensive experience in the construction industry with 5+ years as a safety officer. Extensive knowledge of OSHA Federal, State Health and Safety regulations and reporting procedures. Knowledge of AHA. Knowledge of EM-385. OSHA 30 certification.
