Job Title: Executive Director - Assisted Living Facility
The Executive Director of an assisted living facility oversees all aspects of the community's operations, ensuring residents receive quality care and the facility operates efficiently and complies with regulations. This role involves leading staff, managing the budget, and developing strategies for growth and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities Leadership and Management: - Manage the daily operations of the assisted living community while maintain a family-centered environment.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and standards.
Resident Care: - Collaborate with the Wellness Director, residents and their family members to ensure care plans met the residents’ individual needs.
- Promote a culture of compassion and respect for residents' dignity and autonomy.
Financial Management: - Monitor expenses and revenues, ensuring financial sustainability.
- Implement cost-effective practices while maintaining quality care.
- Coordinate with the finance department for managing Accounts Receivables.
Community Relations: - Serve as the primary internal liaison with residents, families, and the community.
- Promote the facility through outreach and marketing efforts.
- Address concerns and feedback from residents and their families promptly.
- Foster a culture of open communication, respect and collaboration among all team members and families
Quality Assurance: - Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain quality assurance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback and performance metrics.
Facility Operations: - Oversee day-to-day operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, and dining services.
- Lead, mentor, and support a dedicated team of caregivers, nurses, and staff members
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure the efficient operations of the facility
- Ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant living environment for residents.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans with the Disaster Planner.
Required Qualifications: - Hold a current New Jersey CALA or LNHA License
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field
- Knowledge of CRM systems and PCC
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an assisted living or healthcare setting strong knowledge of regulations governing assisted living facilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Passion for providing exceptional care to seniors in a family-oriented setting
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Working Conditions: - May require some evening or weekend hours.
- Involves working in a residential care environment.

Compensation: $100,000 +
Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age
Current CALA or LNHA License
High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field (preferred)
