The Junior Business Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for assessing, troubleshooting, and testing custom software applications to identify bugs and errors. The Junior Business Systems Analyst should simulate real-life business scenarios to proactively seek out and identify any issues or problems that an end user may encounter. All issues should be accurately logged, prioritized, and tracked. With guidance from a senior team member, the Junior Business Systems Analyst will also perform requirements analysis, process documentation, and user acceptance testing.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain quality assurance documentation that includes test plans, cases, and scripts.
  • Perform manual testing to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Identify and track issues according to project processes and tools.
  • Share findings and collaborate with the product and development teams to resolve issues.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability across releases.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during software deployments.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements.
  • Create and maintain business analysis documentation that includes business requirements, user stories, process flows, and wireframes.

Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of web applications
  • Strong GSuite experience (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge.
  • Good organizational & time management skills.
  • Deadline driven with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong and lasting professional relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly solve problems.
