The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing and sales team.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate is familiar with the fundamentals of marketing, technical communications, and digital design. This position will require strong attention to detail, organization skills, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn independently in a dynamic environment.

Automotive experience and experience with Adobe software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc.) is favored but not necessary or required. This is an entry level position with opportunity for training and advancement based on effort and performance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Sales Material Development

Collaborate with sales and marketing team(s) to create and update sales materials, including but not limited to product brochures, flyers, technical bulletins, presentations, and promotional materials.

Develop and apply graphic design and copywriting skills to brand guidelines to ensure all sales materials accurately represent company brand and effectively communicate product features and benefits, and company information.

  • Customer Communications

Monitor channels of customer communication and implement strategies that optimize efficiency, refine messaging, and improve customer engagement and satisfaction.

Serve as primary point of contact for email campaigns, customer satisfaction surveys, press releases, social media content, advertisements, and any other relevant communication platforms that keep customers informed about product updates, promotions, and company news.

  • Event Coordination

Collaborate with sales team to maintain a calendar of participation in industry tradeshows, conferences, and other events that showcase products, services, and build brand awareness as well as relevant pre-event promotion and post-event follow up.

Assist sales team in coordinating logistics for delivery and return of promotional materials (booth materials, prints, giveaways, product samples, etc.) for events.

Assess and record industry participation and execute strategies that maximize customer engagement and ROI.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

Communicate with website, IT, and catalog team(s) relevant customer feedback, marketing metrics, and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness of marketing initiatives and areas for improvement.

Communicate with product teams(s) to better understand industry trends and finetune communications.

Communicate with sales team(s) to better understand competitive landscape and opportunities for growth.

Act as a liaison between Omega Environmental Technologies & Santech Industries marketing department and corporate partner departments to gather input, coordinate projects, and support business objectives.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Publisher, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Intermediate proficiency of email campaign software (Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, Zoho, etc.)
  • Intermediate proficiency of content creation
  • Understands content creation principles, including composition, typography, and color theory.
  • Understands distinct purpose of different content types, including graphics, videos, and written communication.
  • Intermediate proficiency of social media marketing
  • Understands the distinct purpose and functionalities of various social media platforms.
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite programs and capabilities (Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Rush, After Effects).
  • Although proficiency and extensive experience is not required, confidence and initiative to develop proficiency through training is required.
  • Strong organization skills, specific to digital asset management
