Park Ranger – Long Point & Southern Brevard Areas

We are currently seeking dedicated and personable individuals to join our team as Park Rangers in the Long Point and Southern Brevard areas. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with the public, and playing an important role in maintaining the safety and operations of our local parks.

Responsibilities:

As a Park Ranger, you’ll be responsible for a variety of duties that support the park’s daily operations and ensure a positive visitor experience. These include:

• Engaging with park guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Providing information about park rules, amenities, and local wildlife
• Monitoring park activity to ensure public safety and environmental protection
• Performing entry-level clerical work such as data entry and record-keeping
• Handling cash transactions for park admissions, permits, and concessions
• Reporting incidents and assisting with park security as needed

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of public relations or customer service experience
• At least 1 year of cash handling experience
• 1 year of professional data entry experience
• Experience in park or facility security is a plus
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to public service
• Ability to work independently, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions
