Your Role
A Project Control Tower Specialist in Project Logistics knows how to safely move ODC/OOG or Special Cargo. They must understand the scope of work, how to organize the transport through a local carrier or via the respective chartering desk, communicate with Transport Engineering and keep the Team Leader informed all the way. They must update all systems in a timely and accurate manner. Build and maintain a strong relationship with suppliers (e.g. carriers). Ensure HSE is at the forefront of all work.
Your Responsibilities
- Proactive team member performing to a high level
- Identify individual strengths/weaknesses and consult with your team lead on how to improve skillset
- Pro-active engagement with hubs, chartering desks, transport engineering, business unit and suppliers.
- Utilize the Pricing Centre to provide rates for project requirements
- Execute business in line with rates provided.
- Ensure all systems (OGS/SALOG/HSE App) are kept up to date on time.
- Utilize 3rd party suppliers as directed by management
- Ensure all 3rd party suppliers work within the HSE guidelines and Working Instructions for cargo loading/unloading and moving.
- Ensure operational performance for 3rd party suppliers (including HSE compliance) meets KPI's required and escalate to CT Team Lead as needed
- Responsible for monitoring and achievement of productivity KPIs as directed, ensuring that your performance is optimal.
- Ensure data quality is at acceptable levels
- Support your team leader in the event of any customer escalations
Your Skills and Experiences
- Apprenticeship / Vocational Course
- Other Degree / Diploma: Logistics / Supply Chain (Preferred)
- BU / FU: Project Logistics 0-2 years
- Industry: Energy / Project Logistics / Marine 0-2 years
- Special Cargo Handing 0-2 years
- Fluent
