Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Development Project Manager to oversee land development projects in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land planning, civil engineering, or real estate development, with the ability to manage complex projects, cross-functional teams, and external contractors.
Responsibilities:
Project Management: Manage all stages of the land development process, from acquisition and entitlement to construction and turnover.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities.
Coordination: Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and budgets.
Regulatory Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of entitlement applications, permits, and other regulatory documents.
Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, and report on project status to senior management.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the development.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the development process.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and environmental regulations during the development process.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with contractors and other service providers.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in land development, civil engineering, or real estate development.
Skills: Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
