Job Description

Akkodis is seeking Senior Drupal Developer for a long term contract position that is Onsite in Woodlawn, MD. Ideally, we are looking for applicants with solid knowledge and experience in Drupal, PHP, Agile Development, and SOA/Microservice architecture.

JOB TITLE: Senior Drupal Developer

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 12 Months Contract

LOCATION DETAILS: Woodlawn, MD - Hybrid - 5 Days a week

Salary Range: $75 - $80/Hour (Salary may be negotiable based upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors ).

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and implement next-generation web application using software engineering best practices in the latest technologies:
• Content Management System (Drupal, WordPress), PHP
• Custom API development using Drupal

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Master's or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience.
• 10+ years of combined experience with modern software development using Drupal and PHP
• 10+ years of combined experience web development and building responsive UIs with modern front-end technologies.
• 10+ years of combined experience with Content Management Systems (Drupal, WordPress)
• Experience with Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and Acquia- Drupal Hosting Solution
• Provide software expertise in one or more of these areas: PHP application integration, Drupal, service-oriented architectures (SOA), security, business process management/business rules processing, module integration, user experience (UX) and accessibility (Section 508/WCAG/USDS Web Standards)
• Senior Level experience in development and maintenance of multiple enterprise websites using CMS like Drupal.
• Strong experience with HTML/CSS & JavaScript
• Experience with CDN and Acquia- Drupal Hosting Solution
• Investigate and repair application defects regardless of component: front-end, business logic, middleware, or database (PL/SQL and Data Modeling).
• Brief management, customer, team, or vendors using written or oral skills at appropriate technical level for audience
• All other duties as assigned or directed
